Hello, I was wondering if you would be able to forward this to anyone you
think might be interested. Our retaining wall fell (about 4 feet from back

This auction is for the one-of-a-kind original stumpwork mirror surround
designed and stitched by Sharon Cohen of Nostalgic Needle. The piece is
featured
on the cover of the Winter 2007 Sampler & Antique Needlework Magazine. This
intensive work of stumpwork was stitched in the manner of 17th Century English
Stumpwork Mirror Surrounds and was accomplished by Sharon over a period of
many years and features hundreds of thousands of stitches, every one worked
with
great care and love. The embroidery is framed in a lovely gold toned wooden
frame and has a mirror in the center in the traditions of old.
This special piece is a one of a kind embroidery by the artist and will
feature documentation to the buyer's wishes to this effect. The finished
project
measures 14 1/2" x 15 1/2" framed.
Sharon Cohen has dozens of embroideries in private and public collections and
this is her "masterwork" of the art of raised embroidery and she will never
produce another one like it.
