I'm terribly biased, but I think Reconstructing History patterns are the
best. And here's why:

1) They're on bond paper, not tissue, so you can use them again and again.
2) They have all sizes in the same envelope, so you can make multiple
garments from one pattern.
3) Our sizes run from the very small (34 chest) to the very large (54
chest).
4) Our customer service is excellent -- through phone, email, and website
contacts, you can practically get us any time of the day.

Go here: http://www.reconstructinghistory.com/fabric.php?c=22&w=24&r=Y and
click on "Pirate Era" and "Mid-18thc and Regency" to see all our Frock
Coats.

PS -- We also sell a lovely lightweight wool flannel:

Subject: [h-cost] FROCK COAT PATTERNS

Hi, All.

Where or from whom do I get the best buy for the money of multi-sized frock
coat patterns? If you remember, I'm a small stage costume designer and wish
to make five frock coats for our closet, sizes XS-XL. We don't have much
money, ever! and I don't want to draft these myself as I don't have newer
standard sizes for men.

Also a tip on the suppliers of light weight hard finish wool blends would be
appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestions, Audy.
