I am really interesting in that time period as well,
particularly from 1910-1920 also.

I think that was the Gibson Girl era, Directoire, and
the Reform clothing was really cool. The transition
of dress to the flapper era is really cool. Recently
I saw a movie -- Iron Jawed Angels (I think that is
what was called). It was about the newer generatiion
of suffragettes, they went on hunger strikes after
being imprisoned in a woman's workhouse for
demonstrating (basically holding up signs outside the
White House) during war time--"Obstructing Traffic".
It's On Demand on HBO. Hillary Swank and Frances
O'Conner were in it.

The ladies in the movie don't have their hair bobbed
until after they are released from incarceration and I
believe that was more of a function of ridding
themselves of lice in collision with the new idea of
bobbed hair.

Alice Paul and Lucy Burns-

What is interesting in the movie is that Alice Paul
wears some reform clothing in it. I don't know how
accurate the costume is in this as I am not a scholar
of historical costume, just love it .

Perhaps you can get some screen shots.
the hemlines start going up during the war.
