This is definitely costume, but not historical, so this is OT, but I had to
show this around. Or am I the last person to know about this? The video has

Absolutely amazing. I think -- after replaying multiple times -- that the
green one unfolds from the shoulders into the blue one, but I can't figure out
the rest of them, and even with unfolding, I can't imagine how you could fit
more than two or three in any one garment.
Whatever technology they use, I wonder if it could be used to create a series
that takes you through time, e.g. decade by decade in the 1900s. (OK, so now
at least this post is historical.)
