Evening clothes haven't changed too much really. I mean is it black tie or
white tie? Rent some evening wear. Lapels are wide, waists nipped (and at their
real level), and pants are pleated, wide legged and cuffed. Is it a dinner?
Dinner jackets have shawl collars, and I believe they can be white.... but
there are rules for these kind of things, like a white dinner jacket may only
be "right" for summer or warm climates. I'm not sure.
