Speaking about custom design fabrics, I thought folks here may be interested in
custom made brocade fabrics.
Our company www.sartor.cz sells hiqh quality, tigtly woven brocades from China,
mostly 50% silk brocades. We also offer making a brocade according to your
wishes - your choice of pattern, colour and fiber. The offer's quite new, so we
didn't yet manage to put it on the website (which has an unfinished English
version, pardon me for that, we're currently working on it).
The rules are as follows:
Minimum order: 15 - 30 metres (15 if the fabric is suitable for our shop, 30 if
we don't want to participate in the order)
Price: pattermanikg fee: 10$ per cm**2 (you pay for the size of one pattern
that is to be repeated on the fabric.)
silk + rayon brocades: $24/metre
100% silk brocades: $32/metre
Shipping: depends on the amount of fabric you order, the more you order, the
cheaper the shipping.
I thought this might be a good chance for people who want 100% accuracy in
recreating historical costume. Let me know what do you think about it - or if
you know any better orders, it is always good to know.
