melody, thank you ! The CNAC thing is a party in 2 weeks. It's a reunion for the (mostly) Chinese & American teams that worked in the Pacific theater before the US joined WWII. Ok here's a bonanza of info, scroll all the way down to the bottom. they go alphabetically the United States is on the bottom, has some from 1930s'. Interesting, one shows gals in uniforms that look like Nurses uni's ,as being an RN was a requirement early on to be a stew.
