I'm really lucky in respect to fabric...my man is posted with the military in Seoul, Korea and he actually knows about fabrics, so I can just tell him what I want and he gets it for me at the fabric district. :)
It's not that much cheaper over there though, since the bad economy has pretty much affected the whole world. I have set him a quest this weekend to look for 100% silk velvet, so we'll see what he comes up with.
