I have seen this style in the 70s, mid to late 80s and I think mid 90s. This is nothing new. I used to own a blouse that was patchwork lace and doilies. Tiered skirts, jackets, pants...most of these were of country western design or "ol' west".

I quite like a lot of it, but feel the style should be wearable off a runway, the materials should be durable enough to hold up for awhile, and also, I prefer a Victorian/Edwardian look which a lot of it isn't.
