Greetings!
>From time to time, I feel I need to step in and remind people that the
h-costume list is intended to be welcoming place that is open to
costumers of all levels of experience.
As the list admin, I expect subscribers to follow a few basic
requests:
Act on this list as you would as a guest in someone else's living
room. Treat each other with respect and courtesy. Sometimes you need
to agree to disagree, but rudeness should never be involved.
Remember, it's often not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it. There's no
need to be provoking. Really.
Don't be the person who has to weigh in on everything.
Don't be the person who only talks about one subject, and does that
even when nobody else is interested.
Don't post for the sake of posting. Have something relevant to say,
please.
If you find that there are only two or three people in a discussion,
or if it drifts off of topics relevant to the list, please take it to
private email.
I hope I can count on everyone's cooperation to ensure the list
remains a friendly and cooperative group as well as a wonderful
educational resource.
