sorry, AFTER i posted, i re-read your reply AGAIN.... a printed hardcover just feels like a paperback to us, and that's the "sense memory" I was working from.
we're just old, I guess, 8-) -- hardcovers are "supposed" to have jackets! so I guess there's nothing wrong with B&N's listings after all... sorry to waste folks' bandwidth! c.
