Be careful to match the notches on the sides. The pieces are easy to reverse and then you end up with an oval farthingale instead of a round one. Match the notches and you'll be fine :-)
Mine was a size 2 and it came out SUPER long. I had to take off at least 12 inches, and I'm not particularly short.
