In one of my periodic forays into the modern period (or at least more modern
than usual, anyway), I've been asked to make a woman's version of the WW2
Panzerjacke (German tank crew uniform jacket). I've heard quite often that the
cut was inspired by 1930s ski wear, so I figured that it might be a good idea
to look in that direction for vintage patterns or something else that might
help me make a reasonable imitation for the female figure, but so far I've only
been able to find a couple of fashion plates that look like what I'm looking
for, like these:

Fortunately, I have some experience in drafting patterns from scratch, so if I
could get some idea of what the pattern-pieces for these ski jackets look like
then I think I'd be able to improvise a suitable drafting method. The most
important things for me to know are 1) whether the side seam is shifted
backwards in the manner of tailored coats, 2) whether the sleeve is cut in two
pieces (again, like that of a tailored coat), and 3) whether any darts are used
for shaping the jacket to the female figure and where.

Any clues?
