I understand that Woolite changed their formula many years ago and it was hard to rinse out after that. Clothes could become sticky with the residue. I stopped using it when I noticed that and use gentle shampoos with no oils in them. Baby shampoo is rather harsh, surprisingly, because it's developed to work against cradle cap.
