I collect antique garments and bring them out for study and research
purposes and sometimes for displays. I have two hand-quilted skirts that
look like they were originally made in the 18th century but then
re-modelled in the 1840s. Both have had the waistbands replaced - and both
need to be regathered and sewn back onto the waistband. What would others
do here?
Many thanks,
Aylwen
