We use in memory database and database URL starts with(jdbc:mem). We
have around 30 tables in database.
We switched to file mode to understand the database and the file sizes
are
data.db 94 MB
index.db 196 MB
log.db 62 MB
temp.db 20 MB

1. Why the index.db was taking more space than data.db?
2. We want to keep the database as in memory and optimize it to
smaller size. Can we optimize the database memory given the file
sizes?
2. Any tools available to trace each table size and index sizes in
database. If no tools available, could you give some tips to
instrument the database.?
3.was it possible to switch the index.db in file mode and data.db in
memory mode i.e combination of file and memory.
