Hi all, first of all: very big kudos to Thomas for creating such an excellent pure Java database! It is fast, low on footprint and overall very compatible. I am one of the comitters of an Open Source Java EE content centric framework called [fleXive] (http://www.flexive.org), which deals with dynamic datadefinition, enterprise scale security issues, multilanguage support for contents, scripting and lots more. Initially it has been written using MySQL as database backend, but I wanted to provide a pure Java database solution to make it easier for people to try it without having to install a full blown platform specific RDBMS. It also helps us to bundle it with a pure Java installer and distribute it with Maven. There were however some issues that I managed to solve using questions asked (and answered) in this very helpful group und some which I found out by trial and error. To not repeat my self here, I posted the issues and pitfalls I stumbled upon in our developer blog: http://blog.flexive.org/2008/12/05/porting-flexive-to-the-h2-database
Cheers and keep up the good work! Markus --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "H2 Database" group.
