I have been running an application using h2 for a couple of years
now. Unfortunately I have not been able to upgrade h2 since 4/2007.
Recently we tried to upgrade to 1.1.113 and had almost no problems
except for one: the database size (.db file) seems to consistently be
about 4 times the size that it used to be. It is not very easy for me
to generate a simple test case to compare db files - I've just
observed that from no other changes other than upgrading the h2 jar,
the file size has approximately quadrupled. Does anyone know what the
reason for this could be or if there a way to reduce this size?
