I think it would look like this in H2: merge into totals (totals.id,totals.total) key(totals.id) select totals.id,totals.total + increments.inc from increments,totals where totals.id=increments.id;
The MERGE syntax varies greatly from that of Oracle or SQL Server, and you have to do your own joins, but it works for most things.
