Hi, Hm, I didn't know the soft reference cache is so problematic... I will add a note to the documentation "The cache might not actually improve performance. If you plan to use it, please run your own test cases first.". Also, I will add it to the list of features marked as experimental in the FAQ: "The soft reference cache (CACHE_TYPE=SOFT_LRU). It might not improve performance, and out of memory issues have been reported.".
