It seems, I found the reason myself.
I deleted the database recreating everything using
CALL FT_CREATE_INDEX('PUBLIC', 'DOCUMENTS',
'TITLE,FILENAME,CONTENTS');
instead of CALL FT_CREATE_INDEX('PUBLIC', 'DOCUMENTS', NULL);and that seems to solve the problem, exactly specifying the columns to index (leaving out the non-text id column).
