Hi,

> I find these two statements in changelog conflicting

You are right. I changed it now: "Disabling the page store is no
longer supported. The old storage mechanism has been removed,
shrinking the jar file size by almost 10%.".

> Also, why all the properties have been disabled could have a mention to why?

Most of then were there fore a long time, but always with the same
value. There was no unit test with the other value. So changing them
was potentially dangerous (not a lot, but still). I wanted to get rid
of the older code.

> Any why the WEAK_ and TQ cache types have been removed?

A weak reference cache never frees up memory so it's the same as
having a very large cache size. The TQ cache was not included in the
jar file since a longer time, and was not tested.

> And why the LOG setting has no effect?

This only had an effect when the page store was disabled.

I'm sorry about that. I know, those may be breaking changes for some
applications. However I wanted to get rid of old, untested and
unmaintained code.

I did create a branch however. So it's still possible to backport
bugfixes for those who don't want to use the page store file format.

Thomas
