Eeh..I don't know what to say..hmm
I am developing an application that uses a database.
When I do that application I create views and tables to serve data to
that application.
When creating views you combine tables together and sometimes want to
set the value of a column to null.
And now that I am doing materialized views I want to use a select clause
initializing and updating a table (materialized view).
If you mean do I need this urgently then the answer is no.
I can work around it.
That's why I sent it as a bug report.
So you can append it in your list of bugs.
Did I answer correctly?

Hi,
My case is this:
What I mean is: what is your concrete, real use case? For example: I
write an application to do X and need this feature because of Y. Or: I
use Hibernate, and Hibernate generated this code,... or something
similar.
Reason: I usually prioritize real world use cases higher than
theoretical (abstract) ones.

Thomas
