Oh, well. Never mind.
I already wrote in another post that domains are only partially implemented.
So implementing the domains fully should be much higher in the priority
list.
However domains are mostly a nice to have shorthand and don't introduce
real new functionality so you can just forget about it.
Anyway it's a big can of worms. Truly introducing domains would enable
the user to define operators on the type, casts between types, literal
form of the type etc.
I quess I was just wondering why all database objects aren't inherited
from a
common ancestor that would give them the basic features common to all.
Like belonging to a schema.
Then the user would not have to remember what objects do have a schema
and which ones don't.
Not crucial. Not important.
