I noticed that the h2 database has support for https. It is great to
see that kind of feature in h2 database.

I was looking for an additional feature and wonder if it is on the
road map.

I would like to be able to authenticate the user by https as well as
by password.

For example mysql has the ability to authenticate users based on the
issuer of the certificate used by the client in the https connection.
See http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/grant.html

Is this something that has been considered for h2? Maybe it is
already in h2 database and I just did not find it.
