I'm doing a benchmark between multiple databases (H2, Firebird, BerkeleyDB and HDF5). I'd would like a compressionless situation for my benchmark for all for equal comparison. One requirements is that sequential writing (records with huge BLOB's) is very fast. Im also interested if disabling the compression will give better results.
Is it possible to disable the compression in Java?
