I'm not sure. I don't really understand the use case of the test... I don't expect the automatic mixed mode to be faster or slower than the server mode, as internally it is using the server mode. As for benchmarks in general: there is already a benchmark, so if you write a new one it should be different or better than the existing one I guess.
