Hi Thomas, When I first read http://www.h2database.com/html/grammar.html?highlight=grammar&search=grammar#set__ the sentence "rollback does not affect it" gave me the impression that user-defined variables span transactions (and sessions). Later on I found http://www.h2database.com/html/tutorial.html#user_defined_variables which makes it clear that this is in fact not the case.
