I am currently studying the support of the FOR UPDATE clause in various RDBMS:
- Most RDBMS (not SQL Server, SQLite) support a plain FOR UPDATE clause. - DB2, Derby, HSQLDB, Ingres, Oracle, Sybase support FOR UPDATE OF [field-list]. - HSQLDB, Postgres, Sybase support FOR UPDATE OF [table-list]. I have tried all of the above clauses with H2, and they all seem to form valid syntax and they all run (I haven't checked actual locking behaviour). Are those clauses officially supported by H2? Only plain FOR UPDATE is documented here: http://www.h2database.com/html/grammar.html#select Cheers Lukas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "H2 Database" group.
