H1, I would like to connect to this thread because I also have a problem connecting to a DB in mixed mode from another computer. I have created a DB in mixed mode using OOBase as GUI. It works fine in the first application. I can run several versions of H2 and OOBase in the same time or only OOBase opened.
URL: jdbc:h2:/C:/Program/H2/bin/test;AUTO_SERVER=TRUE; with org.h2.Driver In H2 GUI you can choose between Generic(Server) or Generic(Embedded) when you create the DB. Whichone to use in mixed mode? Do this changes have any meaning? I haven`t found them mentioned anywhere in the manual or in the software. But when it comes to the next application/s I can`t have it working. I have tried all versions of url:s but H2 all the time wants to create a new DB in second machine. So my question is: how shall the url look to be able to connect to the DB in the first machine? Since the mixed mode shall make it possible to close the server in the first machine and open another in the second it must create a copy of the DB in the first machine. In the manual it is said to use exactly the same url for all applications but there is a "mystery" here. If it is a needed change in URL please give an easy example.
