Thank you Thomas! Sorry but I have a further couple of questions about the transaction syntax...
1. If I use SELECT ... FOR UPDATE will this lock the table and start a transaction until I COMMIT or ROLLBACK (assuming AUTOCOMMIT is off)? 2. Is the BEGIN TRANSACTION syntax documented anywhere? Actually I am looking for some examples in H2 that use transactions, including BEGIN TRANSACTION, COMMIT and ROLLBACK. I believe that it should be of the form: PREPARE COMMIT myTransaction ......do some things if everything is fine....
