Most of the data in my database is stored in a column with an array data type. Typically it holds 3000 doubles.
Has anybody done any investigation into performance with this kind of database? select query, delete query? Where are the bottlenecks? On my initial investion the select bottleneck was in the .read method. Can't remember which class. I'm basically asking how much effort has been expended on tuning this kind of database.
