I'm working on it. I try to stick with PostGIS. Not planning to switch to GIST now, but studying it currently. I replace the Intersects function by an && operator, trying to make a generic operator for other purpose than Geometry one. I switch from old svn to git in order to easily save my history, available here https://github.com/nicolas-f/h2database. The master branch will remain intact with svn commits.
