I've never tried it, but the org.h2.tools.shell code looks like it
should handle piped input OK.

At the moment I use the following in a MySQL script:
while read user processes; do
echo "
INSERT INTO userProcesses (
\`dateTime\`,
\`user\`,
\`noOfProcesses\`
)
VALUES (
'${DATE_TIME}',
'${user}',
${processes}
)" | mysql --database=${DATABASE} -t
done
Is something like this possible with H2? At the moment I use
org.h2.tools.shell. I could build the complete query, but I find the
solution with the pipe more elegant.
