Whether or not the performance of the underlying storage engine shows up
as important depends on a wide variety of performance related factors,
most of which are specific to a particular customer.
Rather than trying to second-guess the architecture of whatever this
CafeTran is, you should run some tests for your environment and
determine if it meets your needs.
