Yes, with the MVStore, it should be much easier to support them. However, currently the database engine supports both the PageStore and the MVStore, and therefore it's hard to implement them right now. I think first the switch to the MVStore should be completed. Server side cursors should improve performance, and reduce disk space usage. However, they will not buy much functionality. And buffered resultsets are still needed (for "order by").
