Hi, I'm happily using H2 with 1.3.176 with H2_MULTI_THREADED turned on, no other special settings. My application uses multiple connection to connect to H2.
I've got a couple of questions, I hope someone can answer. 1) Basically, I'm wondering whether query results for exactly the same query, but issued via a PreparedStatements, are cached per connection or per database. In other words, if I run a PreparedStatement using connection A and a little later run a new PreparedStatement with exactly the same content using connection B, will the ResultsSet be newly computed or will I receive a cached result? For the sake of this question, let's assume, that no one has written to the DB in between. 2) And while we're at it, and because it is obviously connected: When are cached results invalidated? 3) The CACHE_SIZE parameter - is it per connection or per database?
