I am running version 1.3.176. My application runs continually making updates/inserts/deletes to small table entries. I can have a few up to 10's of millions of records on any given day. In an attempt to control disk usage I have the application drop my indexes, shutdown the database, restart the database, rebuild my indexes everyday around mid-night.
The latest tests have produced this error in my trace file at the time the indexes are rebuilt : "pageStore: Transaction log could not be truncated; size: 17 MB". I have auto-commit enabled. Does this error indicate that there is something detrimental occurring? Is this an Error or just an informational warning? The individual transactions that are running continually are quite small. The create index command is the only command that takes a while to run, but when it is complete the transaction log should be free to truncate. I am not sure how to interpret this message. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "H2 Database" group.
