I hope this is not against this list's etiquette to mention a tool that is 
not from H2's ecosystem.

But you may want to check http://www.mapdb.org/ if I remember well, it does 
share some common roots with H2's MVMap.

It allows for use of multiple keys (unique or not) so I think it could 
handle your String and Long unique keys.
