As I understand by default H2 stores all data in one file. However, if I get more and more tables with more and more data one file seems to be a problem. After googling I found this http://www.h2database.com/html/advanced.html#file_system_split . However, it says that splitting is used for controlling file size, for example to be in bounds of OS limit. Can anyone say if such splitting file is used for increasing performance?
