If we have a CLOB column in a table and we do an insert. Since CLOB column will not be written in table itself but rather in a temporary location, if that write fails, will the overall insert also fails? Db version is 1.3.176. I am assuming that failure of CLOB column write will not leave DB in inconsistent state.
