For further clarification, I would like to confirm that for administration in Base of users <https://www.openoffice.org/api/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/sdbcx/User.html> and roles <https://www.openoffice.org/api/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/sdbcx/Group.html> as well as associated privileges <https://www.openoffice.org/api/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/sdbcx/Privilege.html>, I am using UNO API of LibreOffice / OpenOffice. This API was written, I think by SUN a long time ago for StarOffice.
Although this API is above SQL and JDBC which actually do not provide an administration standard, SUN provides with the UNO API everything that is necessary for the administration of a database.
