Hello Marcelo,

Geographic edition ships modules to control th underlying replication, 
like SRDF Truecopy AVS, or  other technologies like Oracle Dataguard and 
in future Mysql replication.

Ther will be fairly soon  the possibility to develop custom  replication 
integration with the script based plugin.

You are right, there is  no VI, Solaris is pretty much self contained. 
The only possible analogy  is Solaris  working as ahos t system for 
virtual box, but this ismore like vmware workstation running on a host OS.
