If you're inside SWAN, you should use ipkg.sfbay instead of sun.com. I suspect you won't see the timeouts with ipkg. Register for a certificate and key at https://ipkg.sfbay/register, and set your repository to https://ipkg.sfbay/opensolaris/ha-cluster . Note that the keys and certificates are not interchangeable between ipkg.sfbay and pkg.sun.com -- you need separate ones for ipkg and sun.com. Thanks, Nick
