Tim, You may be right - I have quite a bit of homework to do yet. >From testing on Amazon, it seems that instances in separate availability zones >have between them ping times of about 1.1seconds and throughput of 35MB/s.
The other interesting thing is that if one node goes down hard, It will likely not be coming back. Instead it will need to be replaced with a new instance in that availability region. It'll be really cool I can get it all working though! David -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
