Here are my review comments for the open CLARC inception review for "OHAC agent for LDoms Guest Domains" on 22nd January. These comments pertain to version 3.0 of the Requirements Specification for FBC 2008/1765 by Hemachandran, dated 01/02/09.
I have two comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MR1: Section 2.2.4: RGM requirements I have opened RFEs to address the two RGM requirements. R13 is addressed by the following CR: 6794435 support SN rg_affinities for resources that perform switchover in stop method R14 is addressed by the following CR: 6794454 implement a query to discover the target node(s) of a pending switchover ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MR2: Section 2.2.2, requirement R6; and Section 2.3.2, diagram labeled "Start Sequence" It would be helpful to expand requirement R6. What happens if I attempt to start the ha-LDoms resource on a node where the guest domain already has been manually started? What happens if I attempt to start the ha-LDoms resource on one node, when it already has been manually started on a different node? In the "Start Sequence" diagram, I don't understand the meaning of the box "Start domain". Does it mean that the start method would take control of a domain that is already manually started, as described in R6? If so, why doesn't this box have a success link to the "Start successful" box? Or does "Start domain" mean something else? -------------------------------------------------------------------------
