As Sun Cluster uses extensive hooks into the Solaris kernel, I do not believe this is possible. However, if you were going to attempt something like this, I would suggest approaching it through the use of zones - i.e. build an HA cluster of Solaris global zones, then make a linux branded local zone that is a resource group in the cluster.
Here's some links that might help: http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/scla.jsp http://opensolaris.org/os/community/brandz/ http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/submitted/ha_containers_zfs.jsp fpsm On Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 11:30 PM, yang <yanggongming at huawei.com> wrote: > Hi my old friends: > Do we can port the sun HA cluster into the linux system? > or do some people have compile the sun HA cluster in linux system > successfully ? > If so , Could you please help us to compile the sun HA cluster in linux > systems. > > Thank you lots of > > Edwards > -- > This message posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > ha-clusters-discuss mailing list > ha-clusters-discuss at opensolaris.org > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/ha-clusters-discuss >
