Hi list, We are purchasing bunch of T2000's and all of them need to be clustered. We will be implementing following applications in the cluster environment:
Currently we have the following applications running on Sun Servers/Veritas Foundation Suite, VCS: Sun One Web Server (Managed through Cisco content switch) Oracle (Veritas Db agent) WebSphere (Network Deployment, application cluster) Documentum (Veritas custom agent) ATG Dynamo (Software cluster) We are planning to use Solaris Zones, ZFS and Sun Cluster because of cost savings. I have the following questions: 1. Can we get Sun Cluster support without buying the software? 2. Are there any known issues with Sun Cluster? 3. I see only Oracle database and Sun Web Server agents are available for Sun Cluster, how hard it is to customize agents? 4.
