Hi,

Is there a resource type to handle (mount/umount/monitor) NetApp nfs
shares inside fail-over resource groups ?
As far as I know, the resource type HAStoragePlus does not support nfs
shares.

According the NetApp document TR-3570 ( Sun Cluster with NetApp Storage
(NFS) for High Availability) the NetApp
nfs shares (e.g. for standalone oracle databases) are to be mounted
permanently in the global zone of each cluster node, which
means that the

- NFS file systems are permanently accessable on each cluster node,
which can be confusing and error-prone for
  human errors

- NFS file system are outside the cluster and there is no monitoring (I
know, the clnasdevice command, but this command seems to provide
only fencing support in case a cluster node panics)

I know, that we could build some kind of gds - resource in order to
handle NetApp nfs shares inside fail-over resource groups but
I would prefer a supported resource typ.

There is a resource type ScalMountPoint which seems to able to handle
NetApp nfs file system inside resource groups. Has anyone any
experience with this resource type ?

Cluster version is:
# clnode show-rev
3.2u2

I thank you for your feedback.
