First off, great theme! It's very beautiful. We need exactly this kind of development of excellent themes to cement Habari's position.
In 0.6-alpha, we have transitioned the edit URL to using ID instead. SO now, instead of ?slug=foobar, it is ?id=12. To create the link, just pass the id of the post as the ID in your URL::get array.
